    Thanks for posting, this is a great video! Just one question, towards the end when explaining the exercise with the dumbell, what do you mean with "reset the stack position" in case someone is experiencing back pain while performing the lift?

    Been trying to manifest the root cause for my tight hipflexor pain - I am quad dominant . no matter how much time I work on strengthening and stretching the hipflexors I am in even worse pain - started doing this and felt amazing relief .

      @waughfit 17 часов назад

      @@MarkNorman_NXTLVL I had the same experience. Hip flexors are important but if you’re biased like I explain in the video, the hip flexor quickly becomes the primary hip internal rotator. Then you’re just smashing into an already tight position. Strength is good 👍🏼 but overly using an area that’s already tight and pissed off is no fun 👎🏻

      @@waughfit I agree! - Thank you for your reply. sometimes i believe I am getting tighter and weaker in that area , with pain in my groin area - but this movement really did help me with reduced groin pain and I have begun to have more range of motion now. My glutes are also heavily asemetrical with my left glute being smaller than my right and all the pain is in my left side.

    Lol literally none of these things cause impingement. The two main factors are femoral head and acetabular size. Both cannot be fixed without surgery. What's with grifters demonizing internal rotation?

    • @waughfit
      @waughfit 16 дней назад

      As someone that had years of FAI and was able to solve it with exercise and reproduce the same results with many of other people in training and physical therapy settings… I couldn’t disagree with you more. A simple google search will show plenty of research that supports conservative approaches like mobility and strengthening have great outcomes for hip impingement. Surgery can often be avoided - I’m living proof. Internal rotation isn’t demonized in this video… it’s a normal part of human movement. But you need to be able to control how you use it, which I do my best to explain in this video. Heck, I’m using an IR biased movement on the opposite hip. How exactly is that demonizing IR if I use it as a solution?! Yes, acetabulum and femoral head shape have an impact, but this doesn’t not always lead to impingement. It may bias someone to have more impingement than others but it’s how the body moves and uses the joints that will ultimately determine this. So there clearly are more factors at play than just how someone is built… common sense 🤷🏻‍♂️ I do my best to provide results driven content and am open to constructive criticism. But leaving an ignorant comment like this and resorting to name calling isn’t cool. That said, I wish you the best 🤝

    • @davidsmith7855
      @davidsmith7855 16 дней назад

      @@waughfit my brother in christ, FAI is a bony impingement (cam, pincer or mixed). Saying they don't cause FAI means you have no idea what you're talking about. Yes exercise can modulate pain but for it to be diagnosed correctly you need subjective symptoms, objective tests they correlate with those symptoms and radiographic correlation. Then it is truly FAI.

For example when u speak at night and recognize the close mouth it could lead to panick attacs etc. I think its realy important to know who, why and when mouth should tape. Thanks for this video

Seen soo many specialists who cant fix me cause nothings wrong - im just not level which is normal.... one chiropractor told me 5 years ago, "i could loosen this left side but theres no point- pain is on the right" Yesterday my new physio stated its tighter cause its healthy and stronger. Well that side has arthritis now tho so. BUT he is really trying to find a reason so ill show him this - thank you🙌 Any more tips on this please upload 💯💯
